Back Market is a tech company that is making waves in their industry through the power of refurbishing! With sustainable business practices and a playful marketing TOV, Back Market was an irresistible choice for spec work.

Here, I’ve created a “You left this in your cart” spec email aiming to build trust between the brand and customer, while adopting Back Market’s cheeky TOV and offering plenty of opportunities for customers to return to the Back Market website to learn more or finalize their purchase.

We’ve all been there. You join a video meeting, the camera is on, and the silence is deafening as you wait on others to arrive. The frantic chit-chat and sweaty laughter begin as people scramble to fill the void, until finally, the meeting begins.

Good news! You can cut that tension with a Butter knife and never look back. Butter is a collaborative conferencing platform that boasts unique features like background music and built-in tools. 

This Spec Ad reminds the reader of that all-too-familiar awkward silence scenario, and poses the question, ”Why do awkward silences when you can Do Butter?”.
